MindEdge Chairman Awarded International Brand Personality Award

MindEdge Chairman D. Quinn Mills has been awarded The BrandLaureate International Brand Personality Award 2013 for his role and contribution in the field of leadership, management, strategy, and geopolitics. The award, conferred by the Board of Governors of the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation (APBF), recognizes Mills' significant contributions in his fields of education, thought leadership, and executive management.

In addition, the award is an accolade reserved for individuals who have contributed significantly to their countries and the world at large through their areas of specialization.

In bestowing the award, the APBF said: "As a respected thought leader in the areas of leadership, management, strategy, and geopolitics, you have transformed the world with your ideas and opinions. Your thoughts are highly sought after by world leaders and corporate captains in solving issues in the areas of politics, economics, and social."

"Through your lectures and publication of books and papers," the APBF continued, "you educate and help the world with its vast differences through your knowledge and expertise. The APBF is indeed proud of your achievements."

The APBF went on to say the award is a mark and testimony of Mills' achievements and the "ultimate recognition" of his success. The award was presented during the public lecture at AKEPT on June 17 where Mills was the guest speaker. Past recipients of the award include Nelson Mandela and Hillary Clinton.

Mills, an educator and thought leader, has served as chairman of MindEdge, Inc. since its founding in 1998. Mills, who has taught at Harvard Business School and MIT's Sloan School of Management, consults with major corporations and governments, and lectures on management, leadership, strategy, economics, and geopolitics. He is also an expert on the differences between Asian and Western leadership styles. Mills recently authored three studies of executive leadership, all published by MindEdge Press. Mills earned his MA and Ph.D. from Harvard University, both in economics. He received his undergraduate degree from Ohio Wesleyan University.
