MindEdge Launches Introduction to Agile Course
August 31, 2011
MindEdge will offer its Introduction to Agile course on MindEdge Online and through its project management training partners beginning in September.
This online and self-paced two-module course provides a comprehensive introduction to Agile project management, which is based on a process of incremental and iterative improvements. Agile approaches, such as Scrum and Extreme Programming (XP), have become increasingly popular for organizations that need to deal with rapidly changing customer and market requirements.
MindEdge's Introduction to Agile course describes and explains the Agile cycle, covers how Agile can be integrated into project management, and explores its role in product development. A series of presentations, exercises, self-assessments, case studies, and video commentary from Agile experts offers learners an engaging and focused learning experience.
The course also reviews best practices for Agile and, through eight case studies, explains how Agile tools and techniques are applied.
Project managers who are looking to learn about Agile, its terminology, and its real-world execution will find Introduction to Agile to be a concise and grounded introductory guide.
Learners who successfully complete the course will earn 10 Professional Development Units (PDUs) accepted by the Project Management Institute. MindEdge, an educational content provider, publisher, and supplier of online programs for adult learners, is an authorized PMI Global Registered Education Provider.
MindEdge, a learning company based in Waltham, MA, provides leadership, management, communication, and educational solutions to help organizations meet their learning objectives.
